Yethouse neighbours is an activity centre, half a mile away, there you can enjoy a full day's activity, choosing from abseiling, zip wire, swimming, rope walking, kyack, fence, water waltzer and loads more. We recommend booking all activities in advance of your stay to avoid disappointment. There is also a pump track and skills area making the 7stanes mountain biking trails a must to ride. Kielder Water and Forest Park connect through to Newcastleton Forest. There you will find even more walks and MTB and cycling trails as well as dark skies, osprey watch and birds of prey centre as well as water sports and boating.

If all of that is too strenuous enjoy the beautiful walks in our forests and surrounding hillsides. Views are spectacular, on a clear day you can see the Solway to the Pentlands from Holm Hill. We are surrounded by quiet roads making driving and road cycling a joy.

Located in Newcastleton, this cottage is in a rural area and in the mountains. 7stanes - Newcastleton and The Bike Place in Kielder are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Kielder Observatory and Walby Farm Park. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
