St Blazey 1.2 miles. Ideally located for touring all of Cornwall and only one mile from the world-famous Eden Project is this quaint and cosy terraced cottage, situated in an idyllic woodland location. As you arrive you drive up the private track surrounded by an array of wild shrubs, plants and ferns with the river below enhancing the tranquil feeling. Parking in a clearing just below the small row of cottages you stroll up to the cottage and enter through the delightful garden into a utility area which also acts a garden room, a lovely quiet spot for breakfast. From here you go into the open plan living area with a cosy sitting area with a comfortable sofa to curl up whilst relaxing in front of the woodburner, as well as a small kitchen with a breakfast bar which is within the open plan living area. On the first floor, from the pretty double bedroom, beautiful woodland views can be seen and also on this floor is a bathroom. Walkers will delight in the woodland location with walks right from the door. With the Eden Project being approximately one mile away, why not take the short walk to enjoy the natural surroundings and the huge amount of plant and flower life? The historic village of Charlestown, well known for its harbour and for the many films and TV programmes made here including past and present series of Poldark, is only two miles away. A number of quality restaurants and pubs are also available here so why not enjoy an evening out? The beautiful and historically-interesting town of Fowey is also nearby and is a great place for a day visit. A lovely, quiet location to get away from it all during the romantic break you have been promising yourself.
