This bright and cheerful room leads into a charming sitting room, with comfortable sofas set around a cosy open fire, ideal for warming your toes on a winter’s evening! With a lovely homely feel, the cottage feels warm and inviting. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, both with superb views over the glorious scenery. The local inn serves tasty home-cooked food and the art gallery has many interesting exhibits. Just a short drive brings you to the historic seaside port of Whitby, with its long sandy beaches, famous Abbey and picturesque harbour. With pretty inland and coastal villages to explore and the nearby market towns of Pickering and Helmsley an easy drive, Chapel Cottage provides an excellent base for a family holiday.
