A well-presented, upper ground floor apartment, set in an attractive Georgian terraced property close to the seafront in Scarborough. Modernised throughout, it provides excellent accommodation for couples wishing to enjoy the many attractions of this vibrant resort, within close proximity to the stunning countryside of the North York Moors National Park. Renovated to a good standard, there is a light and airy sitting room with doors opening into the contemporary galley-style kitchen. This social space retains high ceilings, original sash windows and a floor-to-ceiling bay window, which houses the dining table, a lovely spot for a leisurely breakfast whilst enjoying coastal views over the sea and headland. With a comfortable double bedroom and a modern shower room, the apartment offers a lovely base in a quiet area. Just a minute’s walk to the end of the street brings you fabulous views of the coastline and a path leading down to the seafront, with its golden sands, cafés and brightly painted beach huts. Take a walk along the promenade or visit the castle ruins perched high on the cliffs. There are pretty ornamental gardens, the open air theatre at Peasholm Park or the renowned Stephen Joseph Theatre in the round, which features excellent productions. With a wide array of restaurants, pubs and shops, there is something to please everyone. The beautiful surrounding countryside and moors are well worth exploring too, with ample walking opportunities and the nearby market towns of Pickering and Kirkbymoorside. A well-placed apartment at any time of year.
