This stone and pantile farm building and a barn have been converted into four cottages. May cottage is one of these. They are situated in the grounds of Gowland Farm in the valley of Harwood Dale, only four miles from the seaside town of Scarborough. The cottages have every modern comfort, leaving old features such as oak beams and deep-set cottage windows and are surrounded by a large garden you are welcome to relax in and enjoy the stunning panoramic views of Harwood Dale.

The accommodation is all on ground floor level, however, there are two steps with railings up to the entrance. Cosy lounge with open plan kitchen (new kitchen to be fitted over the winter). There is one bedroom with twin beds, built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers. A new bathroom with bath, shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin.
