Alpha Cottage is a recently renovated holiday cottage attached to our family home in Fylingthorpe, Robin Hoods Bay. Sleeps 4. 

Set in the North York Moors National park, an area of superb countryside and coast, Alpha Cottage is the perfect base for walking and cycling, or just enjoying being beside the sea. It is a short walk away from Robin Hoods Bay.

Alpha Cottage: Alpha Cottage is adjoined to our home Alpha House, only sharing the short footpath in front of the courtyard. The cottage is completely self contained. After we have welcomed you to the cottage, we will leave you in peace to enjoy your break. 

Sleeping: Two bedrooms give sleeping space for 4 people - one double bed, two single beds. The double bed in on the 1st floor, a skip, jump and hop to the bathroom. The attic room (2nd floor) has two single beds and views across Fylingthorpe towards the sea. There is restricted height in the attic room. A hairdryer is provided. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. 

Eating: There is a small but perfectly formed kitchen, equipped with microwave, cooker and dishwasher. 

Work and Play: Whilst we hope that you will be out taking in the beautiful surrounds, should you need to work or study there is free WIFI, TV and DVD player as well as a Humax recorder. 

General: The cottage has full central heating and there is an open fire (with a bucket of coal or logs provided during the winter months). 
Linen and bathroom towels are provided (one towel per person). Please bring your own beach towels.
A washing machine is located under the stairs. 
Parking is on-street. 

Please note
- Sorry, no smoking and no pets. 
- There are steps up to the cottage. 
- The property is not suitable for children under the age of 5 years and people who have difficulty climbing steps due to the layout of the cottage and access to it.

The Area:
Robin Hoods Bay, the Coast to Coast route, Cleveland Way, Cinder Track are all just minutes away. Enjoy the seaside town of Whitby, the surrounding villages or moorland, all within easy reach by car, cycle or public transport. Lots to do, including jumping aboard a stream train on the North York Moors Railway, climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey or learn to surf on Whitby Beach!
