Situated amongst the quaint streets of Appledore you will find Dorey, a traditional mid-terrace cottage perfect for your family getaway, with beautiful views over the Torridge estuary. With an original Victorian tiled vestibule, a lantern ceiling and a fully glazed, opaque glass sliding door for the children’s room; you will find quirky features hidden around every corner. When you open the French doors into the garden you are greeted with immediate views over the estuary and out to sea. The fantastic uninterrupted views will be appreciated by everyone who has the pleasure of staying at Dorey. Appledore is a small fishing village, on the North Devon coast with a long history of sea-farers. Shipbuilding is still carried out today in Appledore Shipyards, a brilliant place to explore a bit of maritime history. The village, stretched along the river, is small with attractive walks along the quay and towards Bideford or Westward Ho!. Car parking is available in Pay Car Parks, although these get busy during the summer months.
