Settled into the seaside village of Pembrey, Carmarthenshire, Daisys Cottage is a wonderful getaway for a couple or family of three looking to explore the coast of Wales, with local amenities close by and pet-friendly accommodation. Unpack from the roadside spot a short distance away from the property and be greeted by the quaint exterior of the cottage, beside which there is a patio garden ideal for coffee in the sunshine, and across the road beside the cottage you will find another garden to use. Enter the living/dining room where you will discover an L-shaped sofa to take the weight off your feet as you relax beside the electric fire and flick the TV on to catch up on your favourite TV shows. There is a table for three, at which to serve a lovely family breakfast or a romantic meal for two, cooked up in the well appointed kitchen. Two well-presented bedrooms encourage you to snuggle up for the night, including a double with tasteful décor and plenty of storage for your belongings and a single with lovely yellow décor and complementary artwork, whilst the bathroom allows you to have a refreshing shower or a relaxing bath at the end of the day. Pembrey is a seaside town with a selection of amenities and attractions on offer for guests, including local pubs, cafes, deli/cafe and restaurants where hearty meals or tea and cake can be enjoyed, and a convenience store for essentials. For scenic walks, head over to Pembrey Country Park, or visit Pembrey Beach for a day spent beside the seaside. The town has a golf course, and further from the property you will find many historical sites, including Carmarthenshire County Museum, Carmarthen Castle, Kidwelly Castle and Dinefwr Castle. Visit the National Botanic Garden of Wales to check out the lovely plants on show or explore the wildlife on offer at WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre. Guests will also be able to visit the breath-taking Bannau Brycheiniog National Park where there are many hiking and mountain biking tracks.
