From here, the king-size bedroom is a great place to rest after a long day and the single room is ideal for a little one. A bathroom with both a bath and a walk-in shower completes the interior, giving you the option of a quick freshen up after a day out or a long soak to unwind. Externally, you can enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh air, overlooking your rural surroundings, while the river-side grounds allow for a relaxing time down on ground-level. Explore the nearby National Botanical Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens, both of which are accessible by car and make for an excellent day out. The bustling centre of Carmarthen is only a few miles away and has a multitude of pubs and restaurants to choose from as well as popular and independent shopping retail options. History buffs may also want to visit the the grand ruins of Llansteffan Castle or the imposing majesty that is Kidwelly Castle and make sure to take a trip back in time on the Gwili Steam Railway, which now has a new terminus in Abergwili. Stretch your legs further with a trip to Wales' picture-perfect coast, or head inland to the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park.
