County Donegal. Sleeps up to 6

Nestled within the County Donegal village of Rathmullan is The Old Rectory Coach House, a charming, three-bedroom cottage. Traditionally furnished, and retaining some of the home’s original features, The Old Rectory Coach House is well-positioned near the shoreline, a haven for watersports and outdoor enthusiasts, accommodating up to six guests. Travel down and park up on the private driveway, arriving at a pretty garden, with blooms, mature shrubs and seating dotted throughout. Step indoors to reach the kitchen/diner, fully-equipped for a self-catered stay, where you can prepare and enjoy meals, or opt for an alfresco affair within the pet-friendly outdoor space. The sitting room offers a homely feel, with a lovely open fire to light on cooler evenings, before sloping off to sleep in one of the three bedrooms on offer, including two doubles and one twin. A ground-floor shower room services the bedrooms, where you can prepare for your coming days, starting off locally in the village, where you can stock up on the essentials, dine out, try your hand at kayaking and windsurfing at Rathmullan Bay Beach, or hike through Rathmullan Wood. With Glenveagh National Park a car journey away, peppered with beautiful loughs, lofty peaks, and guided trails, be sure to visit the remote grounds of Glenveagh Castle, ending your day with vistas of Astelleen Burn Waterfall. For a hub of activity, head to Letterkenny, where you can practise your swing, shop, dine out, brush up on your local knowledge and visit the Tropical World Zoo, whilst Derry, one of the largest cities in Northern Ireland can be reached by car, with the St Eugene's Cathedral, Museum of Free Derry, and River Foyle all awaiting. However you spend your trip, experience County Donegal from The Old Rectory Coach House.
