Travel a short distance south to beaches at Mullaghmore, Streedagh, and Strandhill and Rosses Point in neighbouring Co Sligo. Spend a day in Sligo town, home to the famous poet W B Yeats and brimming with attractions such as seaweed baths, galleries, boat trips on Lough Gill, shops and restaurants and much more. Visit south west Donegal travelling through the coastal towns and villages of Killybegs, Carrick and Glencolumcille and marvel at the majestic sea cliffs of Slieve League. Travel to the county town of Donegal, a bustling tourist location and on to the town of Ardara, famous for its traditional knitwear and other handcrafts.
