The open-plan living space consists of a contemporary, fully-equipped kitchen where you can whip up tasty meals for the whole family, a neat dining area to enjoy them and a spacious sitting area which is the perfect place to unwind after a day full of exploration. When the evening draws to a close, retire to either of the two bright and airy bedrooms; a king-size looking over the gardens and fields beyond, and a single room. A smart bathroom offers a walk-in shower cubicle, perfect for a good soak after a long day on the beach. To the front of the cottage is a lawned garden and to the rear, a small gravelled courtyard with a picnic bench to enjoy the warm evening sun. Stithians has a small Post Office/store and The Golden Lion Inn which serves good food, ideal for a much-needed break from the kitchen. Stithians Lake is popular for watersports, providing hours of endless fun as well as angling and birdwatching; there are also an abundance of walks woven throughout the surrounding countryside. Just a short drive away is the bustling harbour town of Falmouth which boasts golden sandy beaches where you can soak up the sun, splash around in the sea or simply admire the breath-taking views. You can also find the tranquil creeks and inlets of Restronguet and Mylor, a number of golf courses, tropical gardens and the coast to coast cycle trail. With so much to see and do Bailey Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the best of this part of Cornwall.
