Town: This village and civil parish is in the Richmondshire area of North Yorkshire, which is close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Nidderdale AONB. Catterick Bridge is home to Catterick Racecourse, one of the busiest in North Yorkshire. Catterick Bridge has been home to horse racing since the mid-17th century. The Grandstand at Catterick Bridge is a mix of old and new, and it's a fun and relaxing place for everyone, no matter what the occasion is. The area has a lovely village green where Brough Beck flows into the River Swale, making it an ideal place for an afternoon stroll. There are parks, safe paddling areas, and small waterfalls, as well as local businesses, the sports field, and public houses that make it easy for visitors from all over the world to get around. For more things to do, there is the ancient market town of Richmond, which has a lot of history in its castle walls and a lot of shops, pubs, and restaurants. Admire the elegant Georgian architecture that lines many of the old cobbled streets, including the Georgian Theatre, which hosts regular shows. Yorkshire Dales National Park has three peaks, as well as gentle walks and plenty of walking for people of all ages and abilities. Take a look at its wild and windswept meadows, or its quiet and peaceful valleys; a picture-perfect scene is just a short drive away. Nidderdale, an area of outstanding natural beauty, is far away. It has beautiful moorland and a network of lush green fields. This beautiful area of North Yorkshire should be seen again and again.

Located in Richmond, this lodge is in a rural area. Catterick Golf Club and Bedale Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Millgate House Garden and Luke Searle Golf Simulator. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Croft Circuit or The Northern Echo Arena. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as hiking/biking trails and cycling in the area.
