View to the Fells is a two bedroom apartment over two floors situated minutes from the centre of Ambleside. Views to Loughrigg Fell and the Fairfield Horseshoe dominate with the rooftops of Ambleside below. The Coniston Fells are also clearly visible (weather permitting). The apartment faces south west and benefits from afternoon and evening sun.

A good sized entrance hall gives access to the open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area. A private balcony is accessed from the kitchen; just the place to sit and relax after a day on the fells or after enjoying the delights of Ambleside’s many shops, cafes and other attractions, so makes the most of the sun and the sunsets. The kitchen has been recently refurbished to a high standard and benefits from a large 70/30 fridge freezer; a double oven with grill; a microwave oven; a ceramic hob and a dishwasher.

A shower room with WC and sink is also accessed from the hall and there is also a large cupboard for coats, boots etc.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms: one with a king size bed, the second is set up as a twin. Each bedroom has a double wardrobe and a chest of drawers to store your belongings. A second modern shower room is situated on this floor.

All linen is provided including towels and tea towels.

The heating is provided by electric heating and is included in the price. WiFi is free and provides a good signal. The TV in the lounge is a smart TV so bring your logons and watch your catch up services.

There is an allocated parking space, which is a bonus in Ambleside and the access from the car park to the apartment is either via stairs or the lift.

The apartment is situated 2 minutes from the centre of Ambleside via a steep public footpath. An alternative less steep 5 minute walk to the centre is also available. Ambleside has many shops and restaurants to choose from as well as a number of pubs. For vegetarians there are two vegetarian restaurants. There are also two cinemas and a walk to Lake Windermere will reveal the remains of a Roman Fort. For those who prefer to walk without using a car there are several walks available from the village ranging from the strenuous to the more leisurely. Recommendations are provided in the apartment.

Ambleside is ideally situated in the centre of The Lakes with all Lakeland destinations being within an hour's drive. If you fancy a sight of the sea the coast is also within easy driving distance. Lake Windermere is a twenty minute walk from the apartment where Lakeland steamers run frequently.

Changeover days are generally Monday or Friday. Other days may be available on request.

Located in Ambleside, this apartment is in the mountains and on the waterfront. Armitt Museum and Gallery and Wordsworth Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Ambleside Pier and Orrest Head. Treetop Trek and Grasmere Showground are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
