The coastal town of Grange over Sands is nearby (2 miles), with its long promenade, or you could head inland to Cartmel (4 miles), known for its fantastic restaurants and national hunt racecourse. Heading inland, you can explore the southern areas of the Lake District, with the southern tips of Windermere (6 miles) and Coniston Water (15 miles) nearby. This is a great base for exploring Morecambe Bay, with plenty of nature reserves to visit in the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (10 miles). Other local attractions include Holker Hall, Sizergh Castle and Fell Foot Park (all within 9 miles). Entering the property, stairs lead up to the apartment on the first floor. Here you will find the cosy lounge. Featuring comfortable seating, a warming wood burner and a TV, this is an ideal space for you all to sit back, chat, enjoy a movie or catch up with a good book at the end of a fantastic day out. To the rear of the property is a gravelled patio area with outdoor furniture, making an ideal spot for a morning coffee as you plan the day s activities. Off road parking is available for one car, and there s also storage space for bikes in the garage.
