It enjoys an elevated position, providing stunning mountain views, with grounds that extend down to the edge of Esthwaite Water, surrounded by miles of scenic walks. Wander down to the lake, a perfect spot for enjoying a picnic or making the most of one of the rowing boats. There is also a private path to National Trust land at the back of the property with direct access to Moss Eccles Tarn. The village of Hawkshead is only a mile away, famed for its connections to Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth, with a range of shops, cafes, and pubs. On entering the apartment, the private hallway provides space to hang coats before entering the open plan lounge/diner where attention is immediately drawn to the view. The room welcomes guests with its comfortable seating, Smart TV/ Blu ray, a well stocked library, and upholstered window seat from where they can enjoy the stunning views over the lake towards the mountains: ospreys are seen frequently.
