Sleeping up to four guests, this inviting property lies in the thriving market town of Keswick, within half a mile of spacious town parks with floral gardens, picnic tables, and recreation areas. Discover the town s heritage at Keswick Museum or scribe holiday memories at Derwent Pencil Museum. You can also enjoy the town s popular theatre and cinema. This property is perfectly placed for visiting the northern lakes, so dust off your hiking boots and head for the heights of Skiddaw; or venture to nearby Derwentwater Marina (2 miles) where you can mess about on boats, or wander by the shore and spot red squirrels in the lakeside woods. Enter the shared three storey building, set in a beautiful courtyard and head through the shared main hall to an inner hall which is the ideal place for coats and boots (shared with one other apartment). Step into your bright and airy holiday retreat where everything is set on one level and decorated in traditional style, with warm tones and wooden furniture creating an inviting home from home. Walk through to the open plan dining and living area where you can unwind after a day exploring. Refresh in the contemporary style family bathroom (with a shower over the bath, and WC). Cook up a storm with ingredients from Keswick s weekly markets in the well equipped kitchen, complete with an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice box, microwave, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Then, catch up on the day s events as you tuck into delicious home cooked food at the dining table. Sink into the comfy seats in the living area where there s a TV with Freeview and a DVD player, plus a selection of games and books to keep everyone entertained. Settle in for a great night s sleep in the king size bedroom with its plush headboard, vanity table, and ample storage space. The second bedroom has full size bunk beds. Outside, there is a dedicated parking space available for one car. There s also shops, pubs and restaurants nearby, the sparkling River Greta is within half a mile of the property.
