Orchar Park, leading to the esplanade and Broughty Ferry beach, is approximately 100 metres from the cottage. A former fishing village, Broughty Ferry has something for everyone. There are independent boutiques, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and traditional pubs. There are fabulous places to eat, from fine dining to traditional pub grub, lots of choice. Enjoy a Visocchi's ice cream at the waterfront, explore Broughty Castle, the sandy beach and esplanade, or make the most of the property location and plan day trips further afield. Minutes from Dundee city centre by car, bus or train for visits to V&A Dundee, McManus galleries, RRS Discovery, night clubs, casino and so much more. Electric car chargers are available at Queen Street car park. St Andrews, Monifieth, Carnoustie and Gleneagles are all within travelling distance for keen golfers.
