This gorgeous property oozes style – an elegant townhouse with tasteful furnishings makes a wonderful base to explore this lovely part of Scotland. The cosy lounge has a door which opens onto a shared enclosed garden, and the two bedrooms, one on each floor, are very comfortable places to rest after a busy day out exploring.
In a great position, with the Mid Links Park across the road to the front and a short walk to Montrose’s magnificent sandy beach this is a great choice if you do not want to drive everywhere. The High Street is an easy stroll with shops and eateries and there are good tennis courts and bowling greens again within walking distance. The magnificent sandy beach, golf courses and links area are very popular with tourists and there are plenty of good cycle routes around the house and throughout the area. For aviation and military enthusiasts, a visit to Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre is an absolute ‘must’, which showcases the fascinating and pioneering history of the first military airfield to be established in Great Britain.
Further afield, there are many attractions and places of interest. If you enjoy walking, whether it be through the glens or along the coast, then this area does not disappoint, with many trails available nearby. The cities of Dundee and Aberdeen are around 30-40 minutes’ drive, with many cultural attractions including the V & A Museum, theatres, shops and leisure activities in abundance. Beach 800 yards.
