Steading Cottage is a splendid stone-built cottage resting on the outskirts of Cortachy, Angus. Hosting a double and a twin room, along with a shower room, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room. Outside there is off-road parking for three cars and a partially enclosed garden with lawn, gravel and furniture. Steading Cottage is a tranquil escape in the Highlands.

Amenities: Bio mass heating and wind power for electrics. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher. Smart TV, WiFi. Fuel, power inc. in rent. Highchair and travel cot available. Off-road parking for 3 cars. Partially enclosed garden with gravel, lawn and furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.4 miles. Note: Property is on a working farm with agricultural vehicles and animals on site, associated noises will be heard.

The town is well-known for being the birthplace of novelist JM Barrie, creator of Peter Pan, the grand house is owned by the National Trust and offers the opportunity to delve into history.

Located in Kirriemuir, this cottage is in a rural area. J.M. Barrie's Birthplace and Catherthuns are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Loch of Kinnordy Nature Reserve and Forfar Loch Country Park. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as hiking and cycling in the area.
