The Space:
Old Mill Cottage set in the countryside, yet 10 minutes drive to St Andrews. The attractive mill cottage comfortably sleeps 6 with a double, twin and a double sofa bed. Perfect for weddings at The Cow Shed, Kinkell Byre and in St Andrews.  Free parking for several cars on site.  The property has it's own entrance on the first floor and ample private and free parking directly outside. There is a lovely little patio area with outdoor furniture. TV is equipped with Netflix - you will be able to log in using your own login details. 
The accommodation layouts are as follows:  Ground Floor - Kitchen/living room with dining table and TV. Double sofa bed available. Please advise if wish to use the sofa bed. Access to patio and outdoor furniture.   First Floor - 1 double bed with storage and 1 twin room. Family bathroom with electric shower.


The Neighbourhood:
St Andrews is home to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the famous Old Course. Its amenities include Scotland's oldest university, founded in 1413, beautiful award-winning beaches, historic buildings, including the ruins of the cathedral, castle and St Rule's Tower and a wide variety of specialist shops and restaurants. Renowned worldwide as "the home of golf” St Andrews has seven world-class links courses and others in the area include The Dukes, Kingsbarns and the Fairmont St Andrews complex. Within 15 minutes drive, you have an absolute wealth of beauty with the East Neuk of Fife and its picturesque towns and villages, including Crail, Elie, Kingsbarns and many more. 10 mins drive to town centre, the Old Course and to the beach. Supermarkets in St Andrews and Anstruther.
Getting Around:
Please note use of a car is recommended as no footpath for walking into St Andrews.
Once in St Andrews there are several car parks, once parked everything is within walking distance, be it the sights, the beaches, the aquarium, the Links golf courses and many more facilities. The bus routes are all frequent and easy to use. Taxis are relatively cheap given the short distances between places in St Andrews. 
Guest access:
Guests will have full access to the entire property. No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the house are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements.
Pre Arrival:
When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via a web link with all the necessary information to check yourself in at your leisure from 4pm. If early check in has been purchased check in will be from 3pm. Please note that access is not permitted to the property before this time, and we cannot store any luggage prior to check in.
Check in is via a secure key box for which you will be provided the code prior to arrival.
During Your Stay:
We are happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay.

This vacation home is located in St. Andrews. Scotland's Secret Bunker and St. Andrews Preservation Trust Museum and Garden are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Swilken Bridge and Hill of Tarvit. British Golf Museum and St. Andrews Aquarium are also worth visiting.
