This outstanding historic home with original features is located in the popular village of Dufton in Eden Valley. The apartment has an open plan living area with plenty of natural light and great views. A fully equipped kitchen, two luxurious bedrooms (one king bed and two single beds) and a gorgeous family bathroom are accessed via a beautiful oak and wrought iron spiral staircase. Indeed, it has been finished to a very high standard and is a wonderful home away from home.

The village of Dufton sits at the foot of the Pennine Fells, a close distance from the market town of Appleby with lots of local amenities available and excellent transport links to the A66 and to Penrith providing a charming and rural location with an active village community.

By Car
Dufton is about 3 miles from the Appleby turn off of the main A66 trunk road which runs East to West. Follow the signs for Dufton. The A66 can be accessed via the M6 motorway at Penrith or the A1/M1 at Scotch Corner.

By Train
There is a railway station in Appleby (on the famous Settle to Carlisle line) which is located about three miles away from Dufton. There is no bus service to Dufton and you will need to get a taxi if arriving by train.

The West Coast train mainline is nearby with a station in Penrith. Penrith is also a popular stopping place for coach services. You will need a taxi if traveling to Penrith by public transport.
