Convenient, quiet situation beside the River Caen, yet only five minutes walk from the village centre amenities, including shops, pubs and restaurants. The superb surfing beach and golf club of Saunton are within three miles, with Croyde, Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Exmoor just a short scenic drive away. The magnificent scenery of the 'Tarka Trail' pathway is close by with cycle hire available in the village.

Accommodation in this 200-year-old cottage, is tastefully decorated and well furnished, retaining much original character, and benefits from gas central heating and double glazing throughout. Two bedrooms overlooking the rear garden, both with fitted wardrobes - double with beamed ceiling and single + 2'6" pull out bed. Ground floor dual aspect bathroom/wc with elec shower. Cosy living/ dining room with TV, video/DVD, coal effect gas fire with carved pine mantel, fitted bookshelf and open plan carpeted stairs with handrail to the first floor (fairly steep, may not suit the infirm). Galley kitchen with recessed spot lighting, elec cooker with extractor fan and microwave. Small entrance hall with coat hanging area. Fully enclosed rear garden with utility shed housing washing machine and sink. Raised lawned area (3 step approach) with garden furniture. Unloading permitted close to the cottage, some free road-side parking is sometimes available, public car park approx 100 yards away.
