Situated in a select residential area of this popular village of Northam and within 5-10 minutes easy walk of all village amenities, including Post Office stores, pubs, restaurants, and indoor leisure pool. The Elizabethan port of Bideford with its bustling quayside, choice of individual shops, Burton Art Gallery and lovely riverside park and the spectacular Northam Burrows (centre of the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere Reserve), famous golf links and surf washed sands of Westward Ho! are all within a 5 minute drive. An ideal base from which to visit the superb nearby beaches of Westward Ho! and Instow and the quaint fishing port of Appledore. The dramatic heritage coastline towards Hartland and North Cornwall which is part of the South West Coastal Path as well as the pretty, historic character villages just a few miles inland are also just a short scenic drive. For those who wish to leave the car in the driveway there is also a regular bus service available closeby.
Accommodation is the owners' own home out of season and is comfortably furnished, well equipped and benefits from gas fired central heating throughout. Two bedrooms - king-size double (overlooking the rear garden) with handbasin, en-suite shower room/wc. Further double with pine furnishings, vanity unit with handbasin, and distant views to Huntshaw. Spacious bathroom/wc with shower over bath. Separate cloakroom/wc. Large L-shaped lounge/diner with gas fire in feature fireplace, TV, video, CD/radio, grand piano for visitors' use (please treat kindly), and delightful views towards the countryside and Huntshaw - access via ramp walk-way to rear garden. Dining area with oak table and chairs, and patio doors to garden. Fully fitted kitchen with spotlighting, larder cupboard, gas cooking range (with 4 rings + griddle, double oven and warming oven), microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine etc, and small breakfast table for 2. Entrance hall with storage cupboard, coat hanging area, oak chest and glazed front door. Fully enclosed rear garden, with patio area, solar lighting, garden furniture, glazed wooden summer house with patio area and barbecue. Open plan front lawned garden - driveway parking for 2 cars.
