The superb dune backed, surf washed sands of Croyde Bay overlooked by the enchanting National Trust headland of Baggy Point is just a further 10 minutes walk. Riding stables and an indoor flume pool are available on the outskirts of the village, with a further choice of beaches along this 'Gold Coast' region and championship golf course at Saunton also being easily accessible. Braunton Burrows with its unique system of dunes is within a few minutes' drive or exhilarating cliff walk and is the centre of Britain's first UNESCO Biosphere. The large village of Braunton offering a further choice of amenities is a further short drive. This is an ideal location to enjoy a wonderful beach holiday or as a base for exploring the whole of the North Devon coast and countryside.
