Storm House. Iconic home on the Royal Mile., Edinburgh

Midlothian. Sleeps up to 4

Located in the heart of Old Town Edinburgh, my flat expresses my style and love of travel and the Arts. Rugged modern and elegant, my home is unbeatable for its central location. It is my sanctuary amongst the gothic beauty of the Immortal city.

If you are visiting Edinburgh to connect with the impressive collection of Art Galleries, Museums, festivals, historic monuments then I invite you to spend time at my home, where you can wander and be inspired like a local.

The apartment is within close walking distance to all of Edinburgh's main attractions and places to be - soak in the atmosphere of Scotland's infamous capital city!

Please let me know what interests you and I can help advise regarding activities and places of interest to make your stay more rewarding.
The space
The Living space has a collection of eclectic Art collected from my travels around the world. A large flatscreen TV sits above the original victorian decorative fireplace with three large windows that offer unbeatable views out to The Royal Mile. Through the windows you can see Iconic Carlton Hill and the Nelson Monument.

There is a sofa bed.

The other room is an extension of the sleeping space. Decorated in more neutral tones, it's a sitting room to read or enjoy the beautiful views. Here you will find seating, a wardrobe and storage for your stay. In a snug room in the corner is the bed chamber, hidden behind authentic shutters reclaimed from an old church down in Leith. You will once again see amazing views of Carlton Hill and the Nelson Monument.

HOUSE RULES:
ALTIDO Scotland wants you to have a fantastic stay, so encourage you to see the space as a home away from home - treating it as though it is yours! There are, of course, a few things we politely ask guests to note before their arrival and throughout their stay:
- Strictly no smoking, no parties
- Dispose of rubbish appropriately
- Keep the property clean and tidy
- Whilst washing up and stripping the beds at check out would be appreciated, it is by no means expected
- Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Please keep the noise down and respect other neighbours in the building
- Please remember to close all windows and doors when leaving the space
- Careful attention to the keys is extremely important. Guests are responsible for any additional costs resulting from misplaced keys or locksmith call-outs.
To ensure the safety of our current and future guests, we ask all guests to complete our online check-in form and to provide a valid form of identification.

Guest access
My Kitchen has Prince Albert looking after it whilst I am away, Albert is my mounted stag head ( he looks a bit rough as he is over 150 years old ) Here he will look after you as you make coffee, tea or light meals that you may wish to prepare. I have a microwave, kettle and toaster as well as the essential crockery, glasses, and cooking items. There is also a breakfast nook offering nice bright views.

The bathroom stands out with its original 18th century stone work, exposed beams and espresso tiles giving a modern rugged elegance. The walk in rain fall shower will relax you and is a real feature next to the small window, home to my Lemon tree Attilio.
Other things to note
Please note - if the sofa bed is used there is an additional fee of £20 for linen. Sofa bed linen is not provided by default so please let us know if it is required.

A travel cot is available on request also - please just let us know.

My home is in a historical building with no lift available, but only 1 flight of round slightly steep stairs. There is no parking space provided as we are in the city centre of Edinburgh. Paid for parking is available in the surrounding streets but highly advise to use public transport rather than a car! Edinburgh is so small!

*Pets are welcome but please disclose this in the initial inquiry stage and please note that an additional charge of 130 pounds pet fee will occur.

ALTIDO Scotland will be in touch to assist you with airport transfers and in-stay services, such as in-stay cleans, linen changes and childcare equipment.
If there is anything that has been missed out or if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to get in touch! All feedback is appreciated.

This apartment is located in Old Town Edinburgh, a neighborhood in Edinburgh. Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile are notable landmarks and Edinburgh Zoo is a popular area attraction. Camera Obscura and World of Illusions and Royal Commonwealth Pool are also worth visiting.
