## Neighborhood
Staying in Meadowbank gives you the best of both worlds. The area is quiet and residential however there are great transport links to the bustling city centre, taking about 10 minutes. Meadowbank has a brilliant sports facility and many lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance from the front door of the property. Make sure you look at my guidebook for recommendations of things to do in the area.
## Transit
Edinburgh Airport: From the airport take the Tram or Airlink bus to York Place. From here the apartment is a quick taxi ride or you can take the number 26 bus.
Train: The nearest railway station is Edinburgh Waverley. From the station you can take a number of the Lothian busses, or alternatively, the apartment is a quick taxi ride away.
Buses: Lothian Buses are the main bus operator in Edinburgh. They offer a great free app that provides route maps, fare information and live bus times. Its a great tool for getting around the city.
## Notes
This apartment is located in Edinburgh. Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile are notable landmarks and Edinburgh Zoo is a popular area attraction. Camera Obscura and World of Illusions and Royal Botanic Garden are also worth visiting.
