The Hideaway is a detached property located in the grounds of a country house in the heart of Kent - mid way between the delightful villages of Lamberhurst, Horsmonden and Brenchley. For those wanting a quiet retreat the gardens offer a haven away from the bustle of everyday life. There is an abundance of wildlife and it is a bird watchers paradise. Many opportunities exist to experience outstanding food with Lamberhurst offering several superb pubs, restaurants and the famous vineyard. Nearby are the attractions of Bewl Water, Bedgebury Pinetum and Scotney Castle, which provide walking and other leisure facilities With all of this literally on your door step there is no need to go far, however for those wishing to tour and explore further afield will not be disappointed. The famous Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is only seven miles away, offering excellent shopping and tourist attractions. The coastal towns of Hastings and Rye Harbour provide a great day out within an hour and of course not forgetting London which is a train ride away from Paddock Wood station.
