Pen-Llwyn-Teg Longhouse is an attractive stone building sitting to the front of the owners’ farmhouse, surrounded by grazing farmland and with views towards the Brecon Beacons. This is a peaceful rural setting, yet within easy reach of the facilities of Ystradgynlais, the many attractions and activities of South Wales, Swansea Valley, waterfalls, lakes, forests and coastline.

Each cottage has a small enclosed patio area to the front with garden furniture. Heating is by wall-mounted electric heaters. Mobile signal is variable in this area (EE is best; check with your network provider). To the front of the group of cottages is a good-sized parking area and a paddock, ideal for exercising children and dogs! At the end of the row of cottages is a covered Utility Area with large washing machine and tumble dryer (both coin-operated) and sink.

Brief details of each cottage as follows – please check individual listings for further details and photos. Barn 3 is single storey, accessible for the less able; master bedroom of Barn 2 extends above Barn 3.

Barn 1 – sleeps 4

Living Room: open plan, easy seating, Freeview TV and DVD player, dining table and chairs, kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave and fridge freezer.

Bedroom 1: with double bed.

Bedroom 2: compact room with two small single beds (2’ 6” wide).

Shower Room: shower cubicle, WC and basin.

Barn 2 – sleeps 6

Living Room: open plan, easy seating, Freeview TV and DVD player, dining table and chairs, kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave and fridge freezer.

Bedroom 1: with double bed.

Bedroom 2: with two full sized single beds.

Bedroom 3: with one full sized single bed and one shorter single bed (approx. 5’ 6”).

Optional sofabed on the spacious landing area for alternative sleeping arrangements.

Shower Room: with shower cubicle, WC and basin.

Barn 3 – sleeps 2

Studio Apartment: single storey, open plan, with 2-seater sofa, compact table and 2 chairs, kitchen area with cooker, microwave and fridge freezer; double bed.

Wet Room: with wheel-in/walk-in shower area, WC, basin; a toilet frame is available for less able guests, if required.

Electricity included

Bed linen provided; towels available @ £3 per person per week/short break, if requested in advance

This vacation home is located in Swansea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Brecon Beacons National Park and Craig-y-Nos Country Park, while National Showcaves Centre for Wales and Gwyn Hall are cultural highlights. Sbri Cymru Ltd and Combat Challenge are also worth visiting.
