This property has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 10 with the option of an extra mattress to be placed on the floor and space for travel cots. It has an upstairs bathroom and downstairs toilet and shower as well as an outside toilet and shower.
Downstairs consists of a spacious living room and dinning area (with a dinning table that turns into a pool table), a large kitchen and a shower and toilet room. Please note the kitchen will be redecorated for 2024 and pictures will be added when it is complete.
There is plenty of outdoor seating, an out door kitchen area with gas BBQ and sink plus an outdoor hot tub which is undercover to suit all weather.
The local village encompasses a small shop where you can purchase your necessities, and an old fashioned country pub. A children's play area is 2 minute walk from the house and there are many beautiful walks in the area.
The village of Marhamchurch is less then 10 miles to the popular town of Bude, easily reachable with a 6 minute car journey or a pleasant walk along the Bude canal.
Bude has lots to offer from its restaurants and shop's to the lovely Summerleaze and Crocklets Beach, nearby there are plenty more beaches on offer such as Widemouth Bay and Northcott Mouth.
If you wish to explore more of Cornwall then an hour or two in the car can get you to Tintagel, Boscastle, Bideford, Newque, Clovelly and Padstow, as well as many other places. The Eden Project is also just over an hour away.

Rules
Pets allowed, details to be agreed with owners prior to booking.

No same sexed groups.

 Smoking is allowed outside only.
 People other than those in the Guest party may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are
not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to.

Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 11:00p.m. – 8:00a.m.

All of the units are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

Keep the property and all furnishings in good order

Only use appliances for their intended uses

PETS are permitted only with prior approval at a rate of £25 and the Pet Addendum must be completed.

Parking:
Option A: PARKING – Off road parking is limited to 2 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable
fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you
bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.

Rubbish: Any rubbish must be stowed in the proper rubbish or recycling receptacle, located at the front of the house.

HOT TUB:-
For safety reasons the water is drained and refilled weekly or after
every group of guests. The Hot tub will be available on the day of arrival until 6 pm on the day of departure, this allows us to then drain, re-fill and re-heat ready for quests the following day.

It is the Law for us to do this so please be understanding.
The hot tub is an added bonus to your holiday, we DO NOT increase the price for its use. Therefore we are withhold the right to turn the hot tub off or limit your use at any time. We will only do this if we consider the water unsafe to bath or the bathers have not followed the rules (found below).
Any breakages or faults with the hot tub will be dealt with as quickly as possible, however living in a rural area means we are not always able to hire the correct maintenance staff or receive the correct parts straight away. There will be no compensation if you are for any reason unable to use the hot tub at any point during your stay, and if it is broken before you arrive we can not guarantee it will be fixed in time for you to use.
We will always do our best to ensure you have access as often as possible.

Hot tub rules:-
SHOWER BEFORE AND AFTER USING THE HOT TUB THIS IS TO KEEP THE WATER CLEAN AND FREE FROM UNWANTED BACTRIA, SHOWERING AFTER KEEPS YOUR SKIN FREE FROM IRRITATION.

TIE BACK LONG HAIR, THERE IS A SMALL RISK OF HAIR BECOMING ENTANGLED IN THE JETS OR OUTLETS.

HOT TUB GUIDELINES SUGGEST BATHING SESSIONS SHOULD BE LIMITED TO 15 MINUTES WITH AT LEAST A 5 MINUTE BREAK BEFORE RE-ENTERING. This is suggested to avoid overheating and dehydration.

YOU MUST CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE USING THE SPA IF YOU ARE RECEIVING MEDICAL TREATMENT OR HAVE A LONG-TERM ILLNESS.

IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PREGNANT LADIES TO USE THE HOT TUB.

IT IS NOT ADVISABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 TO ENTER THE HOT TUB, hot tub's are a breeding ground for bacteria and although we do our up-most to ensure the water is safe to bath young children are more susceptible to bacteria and therefore more likely to become poorly if there is even the slightest amount of bacteria in the water.

IT IS ADVISABLE FOR BATHERS UNDER 18 TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

ALWAYS SUPERVISE CHILDREN IN AND AROUND THE HOT TUB, do not leave the cover off the hot tub if young children are in the area with out adult supervision.


A MEMBER OF STAFF WILL BE OVER EVERY OR EVERY OTHER DAY TO CHECK THE CHEMICAL AND WATER LEVELS.

ALWAYS KEEP CHEMICALS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND NEVER USE MORE THAN THE STATED AMOUNT.

NEVER INGEST CHEMICALS OR HOT TUB WATER, OR PUT YOUR FACE IN THE WATER FOR ANY REASON.

IF THE WATER IS UNSAFE TO USE WE WILL LET YOU KNOW AFTER OUR INSPECTION AND INFORM YOU WHEN YOU ARE ABLE TO RE-ENTER. IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS REGARDING THE WATER IS SAFETY AT ANY TIME DURING YOUR STAY PLEASE DO NOT USE THE TUB AND INFORM US IMMEDIATELY.

NEVER PUT OTHER PRODUCTS IN THE HOT TUB OTHER THAN THOSE THE HOME-OWNERS INSTRUCT YOU TO USE.

IT IS SUGGESTED THAT YOU DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL TO EXCESS WHEN USING THE HOT TUB, excessive drinking may lead to slip and trips or over heating. Please be responsible.

ANYONE MISTREATING THE HOT TUB WILL BE ASKED TO NOT USE IT AGAIN AND IF NECESSARY THE TUB WILL BE TURNED OFF.

DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVER AT ANY TIME, IT IS NOT MADE TO WITHSTAND THIS.
When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with
this facility, use at your own risk.

Fire :- we supply one basket of logs only .

Water and Septic: DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been
flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged.

Located in Bude, this vacation home is in a rural area. The Castle Bude and The Gildhouse Poundstock are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at South West Coast Path Section 10 Trailhead and South West Coast Path Section 11 Trailhead.
