Erpingham is a peaceful rural village set between the seaside resort of Cromer and the traditional market town of Aylsham with its good selection of shops and pubs. The National Trust property, Blickling Hall, is nearby and well worth a visit. It is perfect for a relaxing break but also a good base for exploring the many attractions of Norfolk including the North Norfolk Coast, the Norfolk Broads and the fine city of Norwich. A network of small lanes lead to some delightful discoveries for walkers and cyclists. There is a swimming pool available for hire with in one mile and riding stables on the common. Alby Crafts is a very good craft centre just outside the village.

Swallow Barn is a spacious single storey property attached to the owners home and surrounded by peaceful countryside. This is an ideal location for walkers and cyclists with plenty of quiet lanes and tracks. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area and barn owls are often seen quartering nearby Thwaite Common. Shop/Pub/Restaurant: 0.5 miles
