Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Town: Beadnell Bay, one of Northumberland's most scenic Heritage Coastlines, borders this tranquil port community. Beadnell was a Saxon fishing town and smuggler's shelter. It's still a fishing community, but tourists love its harbour and beautiful beaches. A café, two pubs, and a shop are in the village. Seahouses, a mile away, includes shops, restaurants, and boat cruises to the Farne Islands, a birdwatcher's paradise. Alnwick, with its Castle, Gardens, shops, bars, and restaurants, is a short drive away.
Located in Chathill, this apartment is on the beach. Preston Tower and Embleton Tower are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Seahouses Golf Club and Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling, hiking/biking trails, and rock climbing nearby.
