In a central position for exploring some of Norfolk's finest attractions, guests at Swannington can enjoy some excellent golf at Weston Park and Barnham Broom, and walking and cycling paths, such as the Marriott's Way, the Bure Valley and Weavers Way. The Norfolk Broads are an easy drive, where you can enjoy a river cruise or hire a boat by the day. Within a thirty minute drive, you can enjoy North Norfolk and its wide sandy beaches. The cathedral city of Norwich with all its cultural attractions and shopping opportunities is approx fifteen minutes by car. Norfolk abounds with National Trust properties with Blickling, Felbrigg and Sheringham Park being the closest. For those who appreciate natural attractions, the thirty five acres of Alderford Common is an Area of Special Scientific Interest and is on the doorstep. The Dinosaur Park at Weston Longville and the Norfolk Wildlife Park at Great Witchingham will certainly entertain the young.
