Town: Daliburgh is a well-known crofting settlement on the island of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides. Near honour of Donald Allan MacDonald, a Gaelic poet who made his home in Daliburgh in the middle of the twentieth century, this area features a memorial. It's a convenient home base for venturing out to do anything from fishing and hiking to scuba diving and bird viewing. Golfers looking for a challenge may enjoy the neighbouring Askernish Golf Course, which was designed by the legendary "Old" Tom Morris. You can get fish and chips at the Burnside Chip Shop, or you may eat in the Borrodale Hotel for a fancier meal. Daliburgh has a grocery where you may fill up on food, as well as several other businesses, some of which sell presents. The Kildonan Museum and Flora MacDonald's birthplace are just a short drive from Daliburgh, as are many beautiful beaches.

Located in South Uist, this cottage is in a rural area and by the sea. Askernish Golf Club and Lochboisdale South Uist Ferry Terminal are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Loch Druidibeg National Nature Reserve and Eriskay Beach. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking nearby.
