The Snug is an exquisite, stone built property offering exceptional studio style accommodation with a separate kitchen and shower room. The Snug has now been transformed into a cosy, dog-friendly cottage for couples using a mixture of one off pieces of furniture and quality fixtures which gives guests a feel of luxury living throughout. Ideally located in the heart of the village of Embleton with fine views of the sea and Dunstanburgh Castle ruins from the mezzanine seating area.

Embleton is a small village dating back beyond medieval times with a number of restaurants and pubs on your doorstep, a local village shop and garage which lies just a mile from the Northumberland Coast. One of the main attractions is the stunning Embleton Bay, a gloriously wide sandy beach that appears to stretch for miles.

ACCOMMODATION (GROUND FLOOR with internal steps down to the kitchen and shower room)

King-size bed.

Mezzanine floor accessed via a narrow spiral staircase with a seating area and table with views of the sea and towards Dunstanburgh Castle.

Shower room with shower cubicle, WC and basin with underfloor heating.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.

Located in Alnwick, this apartment is in a rural area and by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Northumberland Coast and Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve, while Alnwick Playhouse and Bailiffgate Museum are cultural highlights.
