Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Pensilva is a tin mining town in Cornwall's moorland region. The rocky Cheesewring Quarry, where granite was mined to create Plymouth's Devonport Dockyard, and the lonely settlement of Minions, home to the famous Hurlers stone circles, are just some of the well-known landmarks in this area of Bodmin Moor. Rough Tor and Brown Willy, located further west, also offer breathtaking views. Siblyback Reservoir, a popular fishing place in the area, offers a wide variety of watersports. Liskeard, a market town in Cornwall, is only a short drive away, as are the well-known fishing ports of Looe and Polperro and Fowey, which are also on the south Cornwall coast.

Located in Liskeard, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Stuart House Arts and Heritage Centre and Calstock Arts Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include The Parish Church of Saint Lalluwy Menheniot and The Hurlers. Adrenalin Quarry and Kartworld are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails, horse riding, and rock climbing nearby.
