Farthing Cottage is a newly renovated holiday let.

The beautiful beams have been brought back to life upstairs along with the original stonework. The bedroom has a luxurious wooden kingsize bed.

Downstairs the original fireplace has been opened up where there is a wood burning stove you can use. You will be provided with one bag of coal after which you will need to purchase more.

There is a fully functioning kitchen including a washing machine.

A separate bathroom provides a full size bath with an overhead shower. Please bring your own towels.

This is a perfect base for exploring the local area or for a relaxing time away.

Beamish Open Air Museum and Causey Arch are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Mini Moos Adventure Farm and Holmside Park. Hall Hill Farm and Diggerland are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including birdwatching.
