Situated in Weardale in the heart of the glorious Durham Dales, this lovely cottage is just a couple of miles from the picturesque village of Wolsingham. Only twelve miles away is the historic but vibrant city of Durham with its famous cathedral and excellent opportunities for shopping and leisure. The stunning North Pennines AONB are also nearby. With fine landscapes, heather covered moors, rugged peat lands and magical hay meadows, this is a perfect destination for walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers. You can also stay on the farm, and see the animals including cattle and sheep. There s 100 acres of farmland that you re welcome to explore, including a farm nature trail, riverside paths, ancient monument, medieval moat and playing field. On entering this comfy single floor cottage you will find yourself in the light and cosy lounge. This is a charming room, ideal for relaxing in and tastefully furnished, complete with TV/DVD. Exploring further, you will find an attractive and spacious kitchen/diner. The dining area is ideal, and you will find the elegantly designed kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is also a comfy double bedroom and a shower room with WC. Stepping outside, you can relax in a private furnished seating area. As well as exploring the extensive farmland, you will also have access to a games room shared with the other properties on site, where you can try your hand at air hockey, table football or table tennis. You will also find a shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
