This property is a great base for the Three Peaks Challenge. Split over a terraced cottage and a detached, ground floor annexe in Ingelton, it can sleep nine people in four bedrooms.

Fountain House is a terraced cottage in Ingleton, with a detached, ground floor annexe at the back of it, behind the courtyard. The main part of the property has two bedrooms, including a king-size double and a super king-size double with a pull-out stacker bed. There is a bathroom with a freestanding bath and a separate shower cubicle, plus a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an additional dining space and a woodburner. In the annexe, there is a sitting room with a kitchenette, a wet room, plus two bedrooms divided by a half screen, which contain adult bunk beds and a single bed with a pull-out stacker, which can be put together to make a double, as well as a sofa bed. Outside, the courtyard has furniture where you can dine alfresco in the summer, plus an external utility with a WC, where you can store bikes and hiking gear. Fountain House is spacious and comfortable, making it a great base for those exploring this wonderful regions and taking on the Three Peaks Challenge!

Gas oven and hob, microwaves, fridge, fridge/freezer, washing machine in utility, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, iPod dock, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Parking in pub car park 25 yards away on honesty box basis. Courtyard between terrace and annexe with furniture. From 7/5/19 Two well-behaved pets welcome, three will be considered by owner. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 min walk. Note: Annexe approx. 15 yards from main house. Note: No stag/hen groups or similar. Note: Check-in 4pm. Please note due to the properties age it does have quirks such as some uneven flooring and rough edges.

Town: The attractive village of Ingleton is nestled beneath Ingleborough, one of the famous 'Three Peaks' on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Offering a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat, the winding streets of this pretty village all converge on a central market place. A mile outside of Ingleton and down the Hawes road are the well known White Scar Caves. Open to the public, these caves display a huge number of caverns full of stalactites and stalagmites, with one cave home to a huge underground lake. The superb 'Falls Walk' offers an interesting circuit which takes in some of the impressive cascading waterfalls of the area whilst the proximity to both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake distract make this an excellent place for walkers.

This cottage is located in Carnforth. Yorkshire Dales National Park and Ingleborough National Nature Reserve reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include The Enchanted Chocolate Mine and Westmorland County Showground. Lakeland Wildlife Oasis Park and Cinderbarrow Miniature Railway are also worth visiting. Explore all the area has to offer with cycling and hiking/biking trails.
