Within a short drive is the National Trust property, Cotehele, a Tudor house and valley garden estate set above the River Tamar. A little further afield you can visit the glorious sandy beach at Whitsand Bay with dramatic scenery and sheer cliffs. Equally accessible are Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor National Park with undulating moorlands and a myriad of historic sites and monuments - a rambler's dream. For families seeking a bolthole with on-site facilities, Valley Lodge 44 is a great choice!

Note: You can unload by the property, parking is just a short walk from the property, either over a small bridge and then 11 steps or along the road and up a short hill. From the top of Kit Hill there are amazing views across south-east Cornwall as far as Plymouth Sound.
