Lighthouse View is a spacious two bedroom apartment located in Whitley Bay. The perfect place for a family or group of friends to stay, guests will be able to enjoy stunning sea views from the apartment, with the beach also being a short walk away from the block. Boasting two bedrooms, an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, and a family bathroom, you'll have everything you need for a self-catering stay, and you’ll also be perfectly situated to explore all that Whitley Bay has to offer.

The Space:
Lighthouse View has a spacious open-plan living, kitchen and dining area with two comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV with Freeview. Glass doors open out onto a patio which overlooks the sea, so it’s perfect for a spot of fresh air and you can take in the magnificent views here.

Fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware, you’ll be able to prepare meals easily during your stay.

Lighthouse View has two bedrooms. The master bedroom features an ensuite shower room. A large window with sea views, a door that opens out onto the patio, and a double bed completes the space.

The second bedroom features two single beds so it’s perfect for those travelling with children or teenagers.

A separate bathroom can also be found at Lighthouse View and it boasts a bathtub, along with a WC and wash basin.

Lighthouse View is part of the Montague Apartment building which is also home to Bay View and Sea View. In total, the apartments sleep 12 guests in total. Please contact our friendly team to enquire about group availability.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The apartment is accessed using a key safe and full details will be provided before your arrival date.

Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle. Additional free on-street parking can also be found nearby on a first come, first served basis.

The Neighborhood:
Whilst you’re visiting Whitley Bay, we’d recommend visiting the two miles of golden sands and taking a look at the incredible views of the coastline from the Victorian lighthouse on St Mary’s Island.

If you’re looking for somewhere to eat, head to Spanish City where you’ll find a Renaissance-style hall transformed with a fish and chip restaurant, a traditional tearoom, a waffle and pancake house and a champagne bar inside.

Getting Around:
Whitley Bay is just 10 miles from Newcastle and there are two Arriva bus routes which travel to the city centre. The 306 bus route has stops in Tynemouth, North Shields and Jesmond. The 51/51A has stops in Jesmond and Northumbria University.

There is a metro station located in Whitley Bay with regular routes to South Shields and Newcastle City Centre. The closest mainline train station is Newcastle Central Station which is 25 minutes away. From here, you’ll find regular services to and from London, Edinburgh and York.

Tynemouth Aquarium and The Fish Quay Fair are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Eldon Square Shopping Centre and Northumberland Street.
