This self-contained apartment, which is perfect for 2 people but can accommodate a family of 4, is set within the property owners house, situated on the first floor of an iconic listed building in the heart of the lovely Georgian village of Dunkeld. Built in 1809 by the Duke of Atholl as accommodation for the manager of the grocery shop below, the property retains many original historic features, including sash windows and wooden shutters in the main room.

Accommodation includes;
Spacious bedroom suite with bed, living area and dining table.
Corriidor through to newly fitted bathroom and separate kitchen.

Ideal accommodation for couples although can accommodate families of up to 4 guests with use of sofabeds. Please note, the property is set up for 2 guests using the main bed, single beds must be requested in advance of the stay to ensure bedding is available. There is a small additional fee for the bedding.

If you'd prefer to arrange your meals in advance the Scottish Deli is happy to provide continental breakfast and packed lunches and to put together a delicious welcome hamper of goodies.

The Townhouse Apartment occupies a first-floor corner location overlooking the crossroads in the middle of Dunkeld's Atholl Street. The village sits on the banks of the River Tay, just over the water from its sister community of Birnam. The area is in the heart of Perthshire Big Tree Country, with a range of fantastic ways to enjoy the outdoors, whether you're strolling along the banks of the river to Dunkeld's partially ruined cathedral or riding the gnarly downhill mountain bike trails in the hills around the village.

Dunkeld and Birnam offers a fantastic shopping experience with a great selection of small boutique shops, arts & crafts galleries, gifts shops and speciality food & drink purveyors. Alongside this are well stocked local food stores, a great butcher, great bakers and beautiful home and interior stores. You can even buy a pair of hand crafted skis.....

Located in Dunkeld, this cottage is in a rural area and in the mountains.
