Cottage in Perth and Kinross, Pitlochry

Perthshire. Sleeps up to 4

Accessible via a country road, this charming detached cottage is the secluded country spot for your Perthshire holiday. Within less than half a mile you'll find yourself at the stunning tourist attraction of Queen's View, which boasts stunning vistas of the vast Loch Tummel. The loch is a popular fishing destination, with brown trout, perch and pike all found in abundance. Just on the edge of the Tay Forest Park, there's plenty of both easy and challenging mountain hikes and mountain biking routes, as well as the award winning Highland Safari Centre. This cosy cottage is primarily set out on the ground floor, where you'll find the lounge, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom. With a traditional countryside aesthetic, the homely lounge offers a warming and tranquil place to relax. Enjoy one of the many books from the bookshelf whilst the open fire flickers in the centre of the room, listen to music or switch on the TV. The open plan kitchen/dining room is accessible via two steps from the lounge. The well equipped kitchen has plenty of utensils and crockery, as well as an electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining table has a booth style corner seat, offering you plenty of space to dine together. Also on this floor, the master bedroom offers a double bed with a vanity table and space to store clothes. Head upstairs via the hallway to find two twin rooms, both set out for children with soft toys and bright coloured walls. One bedroom has an oak cot and a traditional rocking chair. Completing the cottage is the shared family bathroom with WC and with shower over the bath. A large garden surrounds the property, and an enclosed garden is the perfect spot to relax. Find a picnic table outdoors for al fresco dining or stay at home picnics. Bird feeders to the front of the property attract unique Scottish wildlife all through the year.
