Cottage in Perth and Kinross, Perth

Perthshire. Sleeps up to 4

This property enjoys a fantastic location in the village of Scone, a busy little place with a range of shops and pubs, which is most famous for its proximity to its namesake Scone Palace, the site of the coronation of Scotland s kings. The palace is a wonderful place to spend a day, with the palace itself being open to visitors, as well as offering extensive gardens, wooded grounds, an adventure playground, and a fun maze. Crossing the River Tay, Perth is a vibrant city, which is not only great for shopping, but also has a number of museums and places of interest including Perth Museum and Art Gallery, Balhousie Castle, and a gallery dedicated to the work of local artist John Fergusson. Stepping inside this single storey property, guests come first to the light and airy lounge with its choice of comfortable seating, fireplace with warming wood burner, and a Smart TV. A door leads through to the kitchen/diner where guests will find a dining table at one end and all the equipment they will need to prepare their favourite meals at the other, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. Both of the property s bedrooms are double rooms, each offering a peaceful place to rest and plenty of space for storing clothes. The bathroom, meanwhile, offers the best of both worlds with a bath, separate shower, and WC. Guests should be aware that although the property is based on one floor, it is, unfortunately, not suitable for wheelchair users, due to the narrow doorways. Outside, the property benefits from a two part garden, boasting a patio seating area which has garden furniture and a BBQ provided, making it ideal for enjoying alfresco meals during the warmer months of the year. There is roadside parking available just outside the property.
