Town: Laugharne is known for its ties with the poet Dylan Thomas. Visiting his Boat House and writing shed, where he penned the majority of his works, is a fantastic experience. Beautiful walks about the castle, with spectacular views of the estuary, can be followed by cream teas in quaint tiny tea places, a drink at the local pub, or shopping in the gift shops and mini market. The neighbouring sandy beach at Pendine is nearby, whilst the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot are further afield.

Pembrokeshire Coast Path - South and Waterwynch Spa Retreat are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and Pendine Sands.
