This whitewashed, detached cottage with large garden is situated down a quiet lane on the outskirts of Blairgowrie, just a short walk from the local pub and within easy reach of the town’s shops and cafés.

The interior is warm and welcoming, with a soothing colour palette in all the rooms. Ideal for couples or families, the garden is fully enclosed, making it a great space for children or animals to play, while the patio area at the back of the house is a good spot to enjoy a drink on a sunny afternoon. There is a good-sized outhouse where you can store your bikes as the area has many good cycle trails.

There is plenty to do in the area, renowned for its soft fruit production - afternoon teas will often contain jam made from local berries. Take a trip to Perth via Meiklour, famed for its Beech Hedge - the tallest in the world. Just 16 miles from Blairgowrie, Perth has a wealth of cultural activities to enjoy including theatre, cinema, museums and art galleries, as well as interesting boutique shops to browse round. Walking is a popular pastime round these parts with the Angus Glens easily reached and the Cateran Trail (a circular 60-mile walk) popular with hikers of all ability levels. Golf is well catered for, with the renowned Rosemount course just a 5-minute drive away. Gleneagles and St Andrews are further afield for those who like to really test their skills.
Edinburgh and Glasgow can be reached within a couple of hours for days out further afield. The slopes of Glenshee are close by and cater for many activities, including mountain biking, hang gliding and abseiling for the adventurous. Golf is also available nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
