The Log Cabin is located 2 miles inland from the Highland village of Golspie at the Southern end of Dunrobin Glen. It faces South and has magnificent views over hill and woodland ground and beyond to the sea and Dornoch Firth. It is accessed by a quiet secondary country road and is not overlooked by any other properties. It is surrounded by dense Birch woodland and has a delightful semi-wild garden. It is constructed of solid Scots Pine timber and has a very natural, warm feel. It is ideal for a family holiday and sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk bed). It has a bath, shower, well equipped galley kitchen and large open plan dining/living room with log fire and tv/DVD. There is also a spacious, covered veranda with washing machine/drier and generous adjacent parking. In 2012/13 the Cabin received a Three Star classification under the Scottish Tourist Board verification and grading scheme.
Located in Golspie, this cabin is in the mountains and by the sea. Orcadian Stone Company and Historylinks are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Big Burn Walk and Golspie Golf Club.
