Old Castle Inn is a historic converted public house with 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 4 downstairs seating areas, wood burners and unique architectural features with gothic themes. It provides characterful and substantive accommodation for families, ramblers, cyclists and visitors to nearby Alton Towers. Well behaved dogs are welcome with pre agreement. The house sits in the heart of the beautiful listed village of Alton, close to pubs, excellent restaurants, late opening shops and the famous Pugin roofed Alton Castle.
The house has a large conservatory overlooking a good sized and part walled garden. The downstairs has a library and music room, and there are lots of books, toys and videos for children.
Old Castle Inn is 1 Mile From Alton Towers Theme Park, and on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
Saturday and Sunday are not changeover/arrival days.
We try to keep the price dow for families with children. Please note that for all adult groups there is an additional £50 per person per stay after the first 7.
