Mosedale is a walker s paradise, this rural village offer a number of walks from the door whilst being within easy reach of Keswick, Ullswater (11 miles) and Caldbeck (6 miles). There are a great range of walking routes to suit all abilities, local walks include Carrock Fell, Mungrisdale Common, Bennerdale Crags, Souther Fell and Bowscale Fell. Just 6 miles away is Rookin House Activity Centre, you can enjoy numerous activities, including horse riding, archery, clay pigeon shooting, and go carting. Or why not visit the awe inspiring Aira Force Waterfall which is less than 10 miles away. The pretty market town of Keswick holds the annual Mountain Festival, offering three days of world class sports, outdoor activities, talks and films with live music. This first floor studio style apartment is in a converted barn, there are a number of stone external steps to reach the front entrance. As you enter the property there is a small lobby with storage for coats and boots. Off the lobby is the kitchen and dining area overlooking the shared garden. The kitchen has feature stone wall and beams it offers an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer and microwave . Next door, take one step down into the studio style lounge and bedroom, there is a double bed with cute low lying window, sofa, small TV/DVD and high ceiling with beams and feature stone wall. Off the bedroom area there is a bathroom with a bath to enjoy a long soak after a day rambling under the shower over the bath, and WC. The shared outside area is quite magical, with lovely shady areas under the trees to enjoy a picnic or coffee on the benches and picnic tables. There are nice lawn areas for your four legged friend to play and a pretty pond. There is a large off road parking area with space for one car and you ll also have access to shared laundry facilities, with a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron.
