The cottage enjoys a peaceful location within the small hamlet of Wolvesnewton, with the picturesque Wye Valley just 2.5 miles away. The Forest of Dean with activities including the Sculpture trail at Beechenhurst Woods, Go Ape climbing centre and Puzzlewood can be found 20 miles away. It s a great base for walkers, where you can enjoy the varied landscapes throughout the year, with access to the Gloucestershire Way (10 miles) and Offa s Dyke Path (12 miles). The area is rich in heritage, with many castles including Chepstow, Monmouth, and Raglan all within 12 miles, and beautiful churches including the remains of the stunning Tintern Abbey (8 miles). The National Diving and Activity Centre is 9 miles away, where you can enjoy zip wire rides, water walking and flyboarding as well as diving for all abilities. You will see the barn from the top of the lane, set in a tranquil location surrounded by countryside. The cottage is accessed via the kitchen or utility room, the utility being a great space for your muddy boots, as well as housing a washing machine and clothes airer. The kitchen area is spacious and well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Table and chairs take centre stage, the perfect spot for tucking into a tasty meal together. The lounge offers space for entertaining here you can relax in front of the TV after a day exploring, or open the French doors to access the enclosed garden via a ramp or steps. There is also a ground floor wet room with a shower and WC. Upstairs, there are two generously sized bedrooms, both are king size with en suite showers and WC. There is also a bathroom with a bath and WC. Outside, the barn is surrounded by enclosed gardens. There is a raised terrace with ramp access, table and chairs and sun loungers, and a gas BBQ for cooking. There is a brook at the bottom of the garden and sheep in the surrounding fields. There is off road parking and storage for bikes.
